I have been associated with music right since childhood. And that’s precisely one of the core reasons toward my fondness for it. Especially, being a Sufi singer which I feel brings one much closer to God and spirituality.
The entire musical approach on the whole is so beautiful. In today’s day and age where we all are part of this rat race, music works like a peacemaker and helps everyone unwind from all the pressures around. My passion for songs has grown over the years by leaps and bounds thanks to several accolades received, be it for Iktara from Wake Up Sid, Mujhe Mat Roko from Gangster or the latest song Mora Piya Mose Bolat Nahin for Rajneeti. Also, my family is immensely supportive. My fans constantly remind me of ways how my songs make them feel happy and understand sadness, too, at times. All of these aspects evoke a zest within me to do more of my musical work.
